U.S. CLIMATE EMERGENCY COUNCIL

You can't fight global warming with coal

Obama is not superman
Sen. Obama's push for coal-to-liquid technology is far from super.
This transportation fuel made from coal would actually double the global warming
pollution coming from our cars and planes!

Why are you concerned about Sen. Obama's push for coal-to-liquid legislation?

1220 May 30, 2008 Brian Germain , MI Because it shows how politiciaqns are easily influenced by unsubstantiated lobbyists, over what seems like a "quick fix" on many issues.

1218 April 01, 2008 Brenda McCoy Matewan, WV My concern is that Sen. Obama is basing his stance on CTL based soley on the views and evidnece of a For Profit Industry rather than on objective facts. Second, if he is aware of the facts, that current practices are impacting human heatlh, then he is advocating that it is alright for some people (mostly poor) to become ill or die rather than advocate changes in energy consumption and sources.
1217 March 11, 2008 khalib mcphee , CO we need to be getting away from coal completely as quickly as possible to be on the right track.
1216 March 06, 2008 coal2liquid Isagreat-idea , CO Coal Gas is a great IDEA. You go Barak... er, I mean, Senator Obama!!

Energy independance is great! Coal Gas is one of the ways to get there! Invest in America! Energy independance!

Woo hoo!!!

Man made global warming is a hoax people. Get OVER it! It's the same answer that Marxists have always employed! seize property, destroy free markets, increase gov dependance. BUNK. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A DISASTER.

Energy independance now.

1210 December 10, 2007 Daniel Johnson Titusville, NJ I truly believe in the power of the Democrats to right the innumerable wrongs of the Bush Administration. It dismays me to discover that a politician of such stong political following and conviction would one day condemn future generations to live in the catastrophic reality that will become the 21st century, as even Obama himself admits, if heaven and earth are not moved to prevent Global Warming. I feel deeply decieved.....

The coal industry. What on earth is he thinking? Why encourage more co2 omissions? Please resind this so I can vote for you.
