Subject:
Dear Congressman: I am writing to let you know about my concern about the passage of Vitamin and Mineral Guidelines by Codex setting maximum upper limits of vitamins and minerals for international trade. I do not want maximum upper limits to be set on Vitamins and Minerals either in the U.S. or around the world. I understand that the FDA mis-represented us at Codex meetings by supporting the Codex Vitamin and Mineral guidelines. This is unacceptable and wrong. I want to make sure that the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA) is vigorously protected here in the U.S. and I expect to continue to have access to any kind of dietary supplement that I wish at any potency and level of dosage.
