The Global Resources and Opportunities for Women to Thrive Act (GROWTH) was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congresswomen Lowey (D-NY) and Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), and in the U.S. Senate by Senators Durbin (D-IL) and Hutchison (R-TX). This innovative bill, if passed, would make the U.S. a leader in reducing povery and promoting opportunities for women and families around the world.
