The Doctor You Save May Be Your Own
The practice of good medicine is being criminalized and excellent doctors are loosing their licenses when they refuse to tow the pharmaceutical line. State Medical Boards, like the FDA, use intimidation and unconstitutional methods to put doctors practicing innovative, drug-free medicine out of business.
William Rea, MD, is an outstanding doctor who is the latest in this series of doctors under attack for practicing good medicine. The Texas Medical Board (which has tried to take his license in the past and failed) is charging Dr. Rea with malpractice and other serious charges based on claims that they will not reveal by parties they will not identify regarding five patients who have gone on record saying that they are currently in treatment with Dr. Rea and are more than happy with that treatment.
All five live in the same area and are insured by the same insurance company. Complaints by insurance companies to Medical Boards when doctors do not accept insurance payments (Dr. Rea does not) and do not use conventional allopathic (that is, drug) treatments (Dr. Rea does not) are increasingly common and are costing doctors their licenses and patients their access to good doctors.
Whether you live in Texas, where Dr. Rea practices or in another state, the pattern and problem is widespread and it is vitally important that State Legislators hear your dissatisfaction with this suppresion of your health freedom and your doctor's.
Let the Texas Medical Board hear loud and clear that patients and professionals alike will not tolerate violating both the Constitution of the United States and the health freedoms we enjoy in this country.
Dr. William Rea is an outstanding pioneer in Environmental Medicine whose knowledge and skill have made it possible for untold numbers of patients to recover from crippling conditions. He is a revered teacher and scholar and an exemplary clinician.
Frighteningly, Dr. Rea is only one of a growing number of innovative natural physicians who is being attacked through similar means in the states in which they work.
Dr. Rea's letter makes it clear that, despite Constitutional guarantees,
"the [Texas Medical] board refuses to officially
reveal who made the complaint, what I am alleged to have done, or what evidence was presented against me. They continually maintain that this information is protected and does not have to be revealed....
Of course, these attempts are also being made in order to try and standardize treatments and make all patients fit into one “box.” Americans need more choices in health care, not fewer. We
hope you, as an informed citizen, want to be part of an effort to help preserve freedom of choice in health care. Insurance carriers and a small group of “Quack busters” should not be allowed to decide what type of health care is available in this country.
It is unconscionable that the Texas Medical Board would want to limit freedom of choice in health care, and allow insurance carriers to interfere with the doctor-patient relationship. Please join our effort for freedom of choice in health care and write your protest to members of the
Texas Legislature. "
Please take a moment to send the letter below to the members of the Texas legislature asking them to protect leading edge doctors from third parties attempting to use the Medical Boards to interfere with the doctor-patient relationship, stip doctors of the Constitutional rights and deprive patients of the freedom to choose the type of medicine they wish to use for their own health and well-being.
Thank you for your efforts on behalf of health freedom. Please forward this information widely and ask your contacts to take these action steps as well.
Yours in health and freedom,
Dr. Rima
