Do Not Execute Michael Richards!

Do Not Execute Michael Richards!

Michael Richards, TX

September 25, 2007

On September 25, 2007, the state of Texas is set to execute Michael Richards for the August 18, 1986 murder of Marguerite Dixon.

The state of Texas should not execute Richards for his role in this crime.  Executing Richards would violate the right to life as declared in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and constitute the ultimate cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment. Although Richards does not deny that he entered the victim’s house in a robbery attempt, he claims that the gun used in the robbery went of by accident.

Please write to Gov. Rick Perry on behalf of Michael Richards!
