Do Not Execute Daniel Siebert!

Daniel Siebert, AL

October 25, 2007

The state of Alabama is set to execute Daniel Siebert on October 25 for the 1986 murders of Sherri Weathers and her two children.

Alabama should not execute Siebert for his role in this crime.  Executing Siebert would violate the right to life as declared in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and constitute the ultimate cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment.  Furthermore, Siebert has filed an appeal to the Supreme Court questioning Alabama’s lethal injection protocol. In addition Siebert has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which is almost always fatal. He is stated to be in critical condition.

Please write to Gov. Bob Riley on behalf of Daniel Siebert!
