Two elected and four appointed positions are available on the Board of Directors this year. All Committees have appointed positions available as well. Build the NPA with Holiday Gifts
Did you know that you can make tax-deductible donations in honor of individuals? It's an easy and meaningful holiday gift. The honoree will receive a personal letter of thanks for inspiring your gift. He or she will also learn about our mission. Please add the NPA Foundation to your holiday plans. We are grateful for your support.
Denver-Area NPA Gaining Momentum
Over 30 Colorado physicians participated in the NPA's Inaugural Regional Meeting last month: Leadership Institute: Serving Vulnerable Populations. The one-day event, held at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, drew a diverse physician crowd including family doctors, infectious disease specialists, surgeons, and obstetricians. Also present were representatives from the Service Employees International Union and the Colorado Progressive Coalition.
The participants enjoyed presentations on public health and local legislative issues as well as skills workshops on working with homeless and ethnically diverse patient populations. The event provided a great opportunity for networking among like-minded physicians and the foundation for developing a local NPA chapter in the Denver area. We will have our first Denver NPA Action Group meeting this month! Click here for more information.
