Dear Supporter,

Congress has been in a hurry all summer to pass health care reform. On the cusp of an historic vote in the House of Representatives on HR 3200, the House has now decided to wait. Some of the wait is for further coalition building and some of the wait is to see what the Senate Finance Committee introduces.  (To learn more about what is happening in Washington, visit Health Care Reform 101.

The problem is, our patients can't wait - not even one more day. The media is now full of stories about political infighting and detailed policy arguments. We need YOU to help get this discussion back where it belongs: focused squarely on our patients and the urgent need for reform.
