Add your voice to the growing global cry for
UN Security Council action on Burma.
E-mail UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon to tell him to personally intervene and request UN Security Council action on Burma.
July 30, 2010
Subject:
Over 3,000 villages have been destroyed or forcibly relocated in Eastern Burma by Burma's brutal military junta. Yet not once has the world's strongest governing body, the United Nations Security Council, ever passed a resolution condemning these attacks and the destruction of human lives. We call on you to personally intervene for URGENT ACTION from the UN Security Council to stop these attacks and demand the release of Nobel Peace Prize recipient Aung San Suu Kyi, just as your good offices have similarly called for strong and immediate action in Lebanon, Sudan, and elsewhere when civilians were being killed and homes destroyed on a massive scale.
