     ACLU Foundation of

Arizona cordially invites you to the

50th Anniversary Celebration

Honoring

Mary Beth Tinker

&

Savana Redding

For Savana and Mary Beth, the rights of young people are worth fighting for – no matter what.

Both women served as ACLU clients in two landmark U.S. Supreme Court cases handed down 40 years apart.  Both women were only 13 when they had the courage to stand up against actions by schools officials that violated their constitutional rights.

Redding and Tinker will serve as guests of honor during the ACLU of Arizona’s 50th Anniversary Celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 7th at the Home of Janet and Michael Valder.  (Tickets must be purchased in advance. See details below).

Admission includes hors d'oeuvres and beer, wine and soda.
No tickets at the door and please purchase no later than 5pm on November 2, 2009.
