The Design Action collective is a project of INKWORKS PRESS collective. For almost a decade Inkworks has offered graphic design services to non-profit, grassroots and activist organizations under the same roof as its offset print shop. In 2003, Inkworks decided that both its print and design services would benefit from the creation of a new collective. This has allowed us to expand our design capabilities, and enter into web and other interactive or "new media" services. Design Action is a California Cooperative. Like Inkworks, we are an independent, worker-owned, union shop.
