Letter-to-the-Editor Tool
You can create letters to the editors with customizable talking points or suggested text for activists' use. Users can send original and customized e-mails, faxes and printed letters to editors, based on city, state, and publication.
The LTE service consists of a customized website allowing visitors to send letters via fax, email, or print to editors of various daily newspaper publications. (This may be expanded to weeklies, TV, and radio stations, if deemed necessary.) The service captures visitor demographic information, identities of the letter recipients, and delivery method of letters. In cases where the visitor wishes to send the letter by fax or email, the software will transmit the data on behalf of the visitor. If the visitor wishes to mail the letter, the address is provided and the visitor must print it out and mail it themselves.
The service can accommodate multiple issues and can be administered through your Campaign Headquarters. It also allows you to modify the talking points for each issue as the issues progress.
