Training & Support

Although we're a small organization, we're very proud to offer exceptional services and support.

We have many years of experience working in both the software development and nonprofit advocacy community and have learned the most effective ways of using the Internet to organize and promote change online. We are quick to give advice and share best practices with all of organizations using DemocracyInAction's tools.

The DemocracyInAction platform was developed with a user-friendly interface that can be used by non-technical staff from anywhere at anytime. For groups paying over $500 for services, we provide introductory training on the tools at our offices or over the phone, if necessary.

We are constantly enhancing and building the system to better suit the needs of the groups we work with. When one organization makes a request, all other organizations benefit. To help our you both learn about the tools in a community-oriented environment and keep up with the ever-changing technology world, we offer monthly training sessions (3 hours) held at our offices in DC.

In addition, we have an extensive online FAQ and help section. We respond to all inquiries within 48 hours. For Campaign Managers, we have an online community forum where users can ask and respond to questions posted, and receive responses from other campaign managers or DemocracyInAction personnel.

On a case by case basis, we also offer supplemental training (via phone or in-person) for an additional fee of $85/hr.
